Founded in 1890, the oldest existing building dates from the 1930s, and huge extensions were made in the 1970s. The facility had to close after contaminated drinking water was discovered in 2010.
After being dormant for 10 years, a new owner removed the interior, all doors and windows, and parts of the roofs as a prelude to an alleged renovation. Since then, the buildings are open to the elements and to vandalism: Therapy discontinued.
